New staff at Brighouse payments firm

The new office will provide additional desk space and house the firm’s Tech Lab, where all of its financial technology solutions are processed.

The expansion comes just five months after the firm relocated to purpose-built offices in Thornhill Brigg Mills, Brighouse, having outgrown its previous location.

The business has experienced year on year growth since it launched four years ago and is on track to double turnover this year. 500 new customers have signed up to Yorkshire Payments’ merchant services in the past five months.

Further recent successes include securing two major banking deals with corporate finance giant Global Payments and AIB Merchant Services, which will allow Yorkshire Payments to provide world class merchant services to customers across Yorkshire and beyond.

Two new tele-appointers, Emma Lumb and Harry Johnstone, have also been recruited who will be responsible for generating new business.

Meanwhile, apprentice Sophie Williams, who joined the company at the end of 2013 has now completed her Level two NVQ apprenticeship in Business and Administration, is currently wrapping up her Level 3 apprenticeship in Customer Service.
