Classic car enthusiast Nick Cooper has won the Best Car in the Show trophy at the Citroen Car Club’s Northern Rally for the third year in a row.
Nick, from Halifax, received the Dave Ashworth Shield for his 1966 Citroen DS21 during the rally at Newby Hall, Ripon.
He won also won with the DS21 last year and in 2013 won with his 1958 Citroen ID19 which was later sold to a collector in Japan.
The all-black DS21 was originally a French Government diplomatic car in Paris.
“It is a great honour to have won for the third year in a row,” said Nick.
He will show the car again at the Hebden Bridge Vintage Weekend, which takes place in August.
