Number plates stolen from car in Dewsbury
Police are appealing for witnesses after the daylight theft of number plates from a vehicle parked near Dewsbury Market.
Both the front and rear number plates were stolen from a gold Toyota Yaris parked in Whitehall Way, Dewsbury, sometime between 12.20pm and 1.30pm on Wednesday, May 28.
PC Ros McCaffrey, of Dewsbury Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “There were a number of motorists and pedestrians in the area around the time that this offence occured and we are keen to speak to anyone who either saw the number plates being removed or anyone behaving suspiciously.
“Anyone with information is asked to call Dewsbury Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101.”
