Fay Gibbons, Digital Fundraiser said: “Our virtual Pet Portrait Competition is a brand new event we’ve introduced during lockdown – we’re all spending more time with our pets, so why not try your hand at a pet portrait for some fun! We’ve already had some fabulous entries and we can’t wait to see more.”

The ten finalists of the two classes will be announced on May 24 and the first place winners will be selected by the team at Yorkshire Payments and officially announced on May 25.

The competition will help raise vital funds for the local RSPCA Branch and the animals in their care. With the support of the local community, the branch successfully rehomed over 500 animals during 2019.
