Priti Patel has just announced that she will be giving us one last chance to behave and adhere to lockdown rules. If this fails it will be further stricter lockdown rules for the whole country.

I would point out that most people in the North of England have been under fairly strict lockdown since last March. The majority of people have adhered to the rules.

During this time we have read, and seen pictures, in the papers of swarms of people in London parks and Brighton and Bournemouth beaches totally oblivious to how the people living in the North of England have been living under lockdown.

The lockdown has only just got to the South of England including London. Oh my goodness! They haven’t had pubs and restaurants closed for months on end. They haven’t been banned from seeing family in their own homes. They are new to this game, entering play at a late date and still not understanding it.

My sister lives in the South and until just recently has been enjoying meals out and lovely coffees out in the sun with family.

Perhaps stricter lockdowns should be rolled out in the areas mentioned above.

Leave the North as it is, we are managing quite well, very few trouble spots.

Pray that they don’t have floods in London or, God forbid, an inch of snow as we’ll never hear the end of it.
