Savile Park was a riot of colour as a 1,200 people made their way around the 5km route whilst being doused in powdered paint.
And after finishing the route, runners were then invited to join the vibrant colour party, hosted by Bazz from Bazzmatazz Dance Studios, Square Road, Halifax.
Fire extinguishers filled with powdered paint created clouds of colour above the crowd as they celebrated in the sunshine.
Sponsored by Benjamin Roberts Solicitors, HS Fitness Groups, Brook Miller Mobility and Porous Driveway Solutions, each company took a team along to man one of the four colour stations on the route.
Rebecca Gill, events fundraiser, said: “We are so grateful to everyone who took part and made this the biggest and most colourful event the Hospice has seen. I would like to extend special thanks to our sponsors; to our Colour Party host Bazz and to the team of over 50 volunteers, without whom the event simply could not have taken place.
“We can’t wait for next year.”
With more money to come in, it’s hoped the total will reach £35,000 - sponsorship can be returned to the hospice or any Overgate shop, or alternatively can be paid over the phone by calling 01422 387121.
Any runners who return sponsorship of £100 or more by Monday, July 20, will be added into a prize draw to win a brand new iPad Air.
Next year’s Colour Run will take place on Saturday, July 9, with early-bird registration opening soon.
