A BRIGHOUSE man has been arrested over the death of a baby boy.
The four-month-old died some time after 2am on Tuesday after suffering serious head injuries at a house in Burnley.
Police were called by ambulance staff at 2.40am.
The baby was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital, then transferred to Manchester Children’s Hospital, where he died.
The Brighouse man, aged 40, was arrested on suspicion of child neglect, along with a 24-year-old woman from Burnley.
The pair have both been released on bail while detectives investigate.
