Paul Chambers and James Webster set off on an epic walk for Overgate Hospice in memory of Paul’s mum Angela, who died at the Hospice in October last year. The boys are not only undertaking the three peaks, but they are doing the three peaks, three times in three days!

Paul said “My mum was admitted to Overgate Hospice in October 2013 and sadly passed away 8 days later.

The time my family and I spent with my mum during this time was made much easier thanks to the staff and facilities provided by Overgate. Times like these highlight the importance of Hospices in our community.

As a thank you, myself and my best friend, James Webster are attempting to complete the Yorkshire three peaks, three times in three days, this will equate to a total of 78 miles over the course of the three days. Friends and family will be joining us on the final day, 10th May to help us complete this massive accomplishment.”

Our thanks to Paul, James and their friends and families for doing this for Overgate and also to Meyers Group and DHES for supporting the boys and for BAC outdoors supplies for donating the boys socks! If you would like to contribute then please go to Paul’s JustGiving site at
