Paramedics treat person as firefighters tackle Queensbury house blaze

A person was treated by paramedics after a fire at a house in Queensbury.

Firefighters were called to the property in Ford Hill yesterday (March 29) at 2.45pm

The fire had started in the lower ground floor kitchen.

Six breathing apparatus sets, one large jet and three hose reels were used to extinguish the blaze

Firefighters requested help from Yorkshire Ambulance Service to help treat one casualty who was suffering from the effects of smoke.

Crews from Illingworth, Bradford, Halifax & Odsal attended.
