Air ambulance called to Calderdale after young person found unconscious

Hide AdAt 10.25, today ( December 10 2020) volunteer Community First Responders were called to reports of a young patient unconscious in Sowerby Bridge.
The volunteer arrived after the ambulance crew, albeit within five minutes of the 999 call being received.
On arrival the patient was conscious albeit very drowsy.
Soon after the arrival of the paramedics and first reponders, the team from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance also arrived on scene.

Hide AdThe patient was checked over and found that all observations were found to be normal.
However due to the unexplained collapse the patient was transported to hospital by road.
Halifax Community First Responders (CFR's) are unpaid volunteers working on behalf of Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
They attend life threatening 999 calls, including cardiac arrests, seizures and breathing diffculties across Halifax and the surrounding area.
