The Grim Reality Cemetery was created at Wellholme Park in Brighouse and invited people to wander amongst the tombstones while completing a chilling quiz.
The most frightening part was the theme of the challenge – the impact of litter on the environment.
Decades-old discarded items were displayed alongside eery facts about just how long litter remains in our environment, and the devastating impact it can have on wildlife and the natural world.
Friends of Wellholme Park, who organised the event, posted: “Behind the scenes, we've been working tirelessly to bring this project to life, and seeing over 130 families turn out made every moment worthwhile.
"What an incredible response from our community!”
The trail was funded by Culturedale and Friends of Wellholme Park has thanked them, Ella’s Coffee, the person who came up with the idea, and all the volunteers and everyone who attended.
