Biker airlifted to hospital after suffering serious injuries in Calderdale crash

A mountain biker suffered injuries in a Calderdale crash and had to be airlifted to hospital.

The Calder Valley Search and Rescue team recieved a request from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service at 5.58pm yesterday evening (Tuesday) to help with the rescue in Colden Clough.

A total of 21CVSRT members were available to respond immediately and deployed in team vehicles or direct to the incident.
