A spokesperson for The Todmorden Food Drop In said: “Thanks to the continuing generosity of lots of lovely local people, and some grant income, we have been able to provide emergency food to all those who have come to us, including those who are self-isolating or are unable to travel, and therefore have their food delivered by the council “hub” or Your Tod Squad.

"We would, however, like to provide something special for people to eat over the Christmas season.

“We are appealing for festive food in the coming month that will help people with little income to enjoy some luxuries they would not otherwise be able to afford.

“We would be very grateful for donations of Christmas cakes, puddings, mince pies, sweets or chocolates and luxury biscuits.”
