Developing science skills brick by brick

As part of British Science Week (March 13-22) Bricks4Kidz is offering children the opportunity to use basic programming of LEGO models, and other activities, to increase their STEM skills abilities.

The local company is offering two individual sessions on Sunday, March 15, and Sunday, March 22 (1pm-4pm) where children aged over eight can build specific working models which will be then programmed by the participants using robotic software.

Co-owner Mark Pullen said: “Kinesthetic learning - learning by doing - is an awesome method to help young people grasp the basic fundamentals of science and we think that combining this with LEGO bricks provides a fantastic opportunity to really engage with the subject.”
