Diwali celebrations bring joy and light to Halifax's Piece Hall

There was traditional Indian music and dance, vegetarian food stalls, family crafts and even a meditation session.

Annapurna Indian Dance presented a magical afternoon of traditional performances and DJ George kept people moving with his eclectic Bollywood Mix and Retro tunes.

There was delicious, warming Indian street food available and a family lantern-making session.
