Fire crews were called to rescue someone trapped in a car after the vehicle hit a wall in Halifax this morning.

Teams from Illingworth and Halifax were called to the crash on Whitehill Road at 12.27am today (Saturday).

The person freed from the car was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
