Scott took to Facebook to ask if people would be happy to bake some cakes for the hospital staff.

"The response was great. Fountain Head has a wonderful community feel to it. We've got a few residents that work at the hospital too and people were more than happy to get involved and do some baking," said Scott.

The villagers baked 25 large cakes and several smaller treats, including cupcakes and shortbread, for staff across the hospital. Many residents also wrote cards and thank you notes, outlining just how grateful they were.
