Halifax's Yorkshire Children's Trust bids to raise £39k for caravan
The Calderdale charity wants to raise £39,000 to upgrade its mixed-ability accessible caravan on the East Coast of Yorkshire to ensure the Trust continues to provide free holidays for sick and disabled children.
Despite working with medical professionals, social workers and parents to support some of the most vulnerable children in the community, the Trust does not receive any Lottery funding, NHS or government funding - and relies on the donations from local businesses and people.

"Families will also get free entertainment passes to access all the Butlins facilities including daytime and evening entertainment, sports including swimming and a range of food vendors."
The Trust have been providing free holidays to some of the most vulnerable children in the Yorkshire region since 2011.
Initially paying Haven for the breaks, the charity now has their own caravan on the East Coast of Yorkshire and has continued to provide free respite for not just the disabled child, but mum, dad and any siblings too.
