The musician said: “On behalf of all of the teachers and students at Trinity Academy in Halifax, I just wanted to pass on a massive, massive thank you to all of the staff at Calderdale Royal Hospital.”

The celebrity gave a special shout-out to ward 5B and ended the video with a thank you message to the Trinity team, saying “We love you, we support you, thank you.”

The Scrub Hub team is made up of Sue Marsh of Trinity Teaching School Alliance, Jackie Hutton and Sue Wilson at Trinity Academy Halifax, Sophie Hale of Trinity Academy Sowerby Bridge, Hollie Dolan and Stephanie Dearnley from Cathedral Academy, Wakefield, Kirsty Gledhill of Temple Learning Academy, and Laura Mills-Whittaker from Bradford Forster.

TTSA Lead of Secondary Teacher Training, Sue Marsh said, “Our Scrub Hub team really wanted to use their skills to contribute, their enthusiasm has been fantastic!

“All have worked incredibly hard to complete the outfits around their school commitments. I feel so proud of what we have achieved!”

“The best part is that the scrubs will go to an ex-student of Trinity MAT and her department at Calderdale Royal Hospital.”

In addition to the handmade scrubs, hospital staff were presented with a scrubs themed cake, made by Huddersfield based specialist bakery Zophisticakes.
