Mawlid procession takes place in Halifax this weekend

Two Halifax mosques are inviting people to take part in a Mawlid procession on Sunday.

The annual Mawlid Juloos will take place from 2.15pm.

The starting point for the main procession will be Albert Street in Halifax, between Gibbet Street and Hanson Lane.

Central Jamia Masjid Madni and Masjid Ghousia Rhodes Street are inviting people to take part.
