Mystery continues as third alleged sighting of 'big cat' in Halifax

Mystery still surrounds the sightings of big cat in Halifax after more alleged CCTV footage has been released.

The apparent footage shows the 'cat like animal' in Hopwood Lane near the McVities factory and heading towards ASDA.

The latest video comes after two alleged sightings at Dean Clough Mills and and the Piece Hall.

From the footage it appears to show large animal coming out of a sheltered car park close to Stod Fold at the mill complex

The creature was spotted on the Piece Hall’s CCTV cameras and left staff at the historic Halifax landmark puzzled at what the creature could be.

Nicky Chance-Thompson, chief executive of the Piece Hall Trust, said: “Our operations team showed me some interesting images around what they’d seen in a routine auditing of the overnight footage and we couldn’t work out what it was other than it resembled a very big cat."
