Property developer delivers Christmas cheer to children in Halifax hospital

It has launched a Christmas campaign to donate a defibrillator to a charity from the local area and is looking for nominations from people within the community for who this should go to.

Having recently hosted a fundraiser for Children in Need alongside eight other businesses in the area, raising over £1,300, Splat Training is hoping that its defibrillator campaign will shine a light on organisations who have supported the valley in recent hard times.

Splat Training’s founder, Amy Gault said: “It is so vital for us that as many people in our community know about defibrillators, so that we can help as many people who need it.

“I’m hoping that by asking for nominations on where to put this, we will raise more awareness on where they are, so that more people feel confident around them.”

Meg Gault, Splat Training employee, said: “The work these nominated charities have done within the community this year is outstanding. The least we can do is give something back in a way that they’ll find useful and, while rallying locals around them too.”
