Ripponden Christmas Market cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic

In a statement to the Courier, organisers said: “Unfortunately, we would be unable to impose social distancing rules in a relatively small area and ensure public safety throughout the event.

“However, to support all our regular stallholders, we have provided links to them from our website so at least they can benefit from online sales.

“We would like to thank all our loyal supporters that have helped the market grow and become a major feature of the Christmas calendar in Ripponden, and hope to return with the Christmas market next year.”
