The Minster will be open each day tomorrow (Friday) if people would like to light a candle, while the wave of light service is between 7pm and 8pm on October 15.

Revd. Jane Finn will lead the service to remember babies and infants that have passed away. All are welcome. Babies and children will be present at the service.

Ben Moorhouse, Head Trustee of The Kallipateira Moorhouse Foundation, whose daughter Kallipateira was stillborn in October 2018, said: “Baby Loss Awareness Week is very important for not only people to speak publicy about the taboo subject of baby death, but it is also a time for parents and families to celebrate and acknowledge that our babies exist who have died.
