“After a long time of doing very little to look after myself mainly out of boredom during lockdown I started walking a couple of miles a day,” Will explained.

“That slowly increased to around five miles a day average. Then in January 2021, I started cutting out a lot of the unhealthy things and eating better, from January-May I’m around four and a half stone down and counting.

“In March the walking turned into running. Then I saw an advert online to run 100k in May for an MS charity, and as couple of family members have MS, it’s a cause close to my heart so I signed up.

Friends and family and everybody at work have been very supportive but I’d especially like to thank everyone at the club, everyone has been incredibly supportive and it’s all been overwhelming.”
