The following planning applications were approved at a meeting of the planning committee.
Outline plans for a new detached house and garage on Rochdale Road, Ripponden, were put before the committee.
Objections to the plans included the site’s proximity to green belt land and a Grade II listed building.
Despite concerns raised in response to the submitted application, the plans were passed by members of the committee.
The Pinnar Lane Quarry on Coalpit Lane, Southowram, will be extended after also being approved.
The plans, submitted by WS Crossley (Yorkstone) will see an extension to the west of the existing quarry.
The proposals outline that the extension will allow for the extraction of sandstone.
