FC Halifax Town players visited Calderdale Royal Hospital to give Christmas gifts to poorly children.
Players visited the ward with manager Neil Aspin on Tuesday December 17 ahead of training for Saturday’s game (December 21).
FC Halifax Town bought toys to give out to sick youngsters on the children’s ward.
Event organiser Louisa Green said: “It’s important at this time of year to spread some festive cheer to poorly children facing Christmas in hospital. The players spoke with children in hospital. If a local football team can spare time to put a smile on these children’s faces - then it’s well worth doing.”
