Playtime is longer thanks to lottery
Children at Field Lane Primary School, Rastrick, have been able to play together for longer thanks to holiday playschemes made possible by lottery funding.
The school have put on a series of themed weeks including an Olympic and international week which have been completely funded by thr lottery’s Awards for All scheme. Vanessa Dear, headteacher, said: “The children have thoroughly enjoyed the activities and it’s a good opportunity for them to see friends in the holidays. We’ve linked the themes to the curriculum so they can extend their learning from termtime.”
