The man ran off out of the park when the boy’s mother shouted at him.

Detective Constable James Taylor of Calderdale CID said; “Clearly this incident has caused great distress to the child’s mother, and to the young boy who was thankfully unhurt.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have been in the park around the time of the incident and may have any information, or who can help identify the person in the efit to come forward.”

The man is described as being around 5’9 tall, in his late 30’s of slim build with short dark brown hair, a thin face and sunken eyes.
