Police appeal for help tracing missing Huddersfield girl, 14

Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a missing 14-year-old Huddersfield girl.

Missing: Leah Elstone, who is from Huddersfield

Leah Elstone, who is from the Longwood area was last seen near Colne Valley High School, around 8.30am on Tuesday morning (April 21).

She is described as 5ft 2ins, of slim build with shoulder length mousey hair.

Detective Inspector Mark Truelove, of Kirklees CID, said: “We are concerned for Leah’s welfare, as it is unusual for her to be not to be in contact with her family.

“I would urge Leah, or anyone who has seen or heard from her since Tuesday, or knows where she is currently to get in touch.”
