West Yorkshire police are appealing for information to trace the whereabouts of a missing teenage girl.

Shannon Robinson, 16, was reported missing from her home in the Ireland Wood area last night (Wednesday).

She was last seen there at around 3.30pm yesterday when she left saying she was going to see friends in Armley.

She is described as white, about 5ft 3in tall and slim. She has light brown, shoulder-length hair, which is usually worn in a bun. She was believed to be wearing a black cropped jumper and a blue and white scarf. She may be carrying a large black and white leopard print bag.

Enquiries suggest she was in Bradford last night, possibly the Manningham area.

Anyone who knows her current whereabouts or who has any information that could assist officers in tracing her is asked to contact North West Leeds CID via 101.
