Police in Leeds search for missing man

Police in Leeds are appealing for information to trace Gregory Smithen-Davies who is wanted on recall to prison.

Leeds District CID are appealing for information about Smithen-Davies, 45, who is also known to use an alias of Kevin Richard Dickinson, and advising residents not to approach him after he breached the terms of his prison licence.

Enquiries are underway to locate him across the Leeds area after he failed to report to a bail address yesterday.

He has previous convictions for burglary offences, and is thought to be in the Leeds area as he has connections there.

Superintendent Mabs Hussain of Leeds District Police, said: “Enquiries are ongoing to find Smithen-Davies who has breached the conditions of his prison license in failing to report to his bail address.

“If he is not prepared to adhere to these strict guidelines then he must be brought to justice and recalled to prison.

“He has previous convictions for burglary and I would advise anyone who sees him not to approach him and instead to contact Leeds District CID on 999.
