Police investigating arson after van is torched

Police are investigating after a van was set alight in Bradford.

Fire crews from Odsal were called to Royds Hall Lane, Low Moor, at 4.15pm.

When they arrived they found a Ford Transit van completely ablaze on a mud track leading up to a farm.

A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said it is believed that the van was stolen and then torched.

Crews used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and left at approximately 4.45pm.

Enquiries are ongoing and police are treating the incident as arson.
