Police seek woman after Huddersfield robbery

Police are appealing for information to trace a woman who stole a bank book from a vulnerable victim in Huddersfield.

Around 2 pm on Thursday, the female victim, who has learning disabilities and motor neurone disease, was in Sycamore Avenue, Golcar, when she was approached by the suspect.

She spoke to her and when the victim’s bag dropped to the floor she picked up the Halifax bank book and went off with it towards the shops in Sycamore Avenue.

She was described as white, about 5ft 11ins tall, skinny, with shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a red and white striped tracksuit.
