The following planning applications have been received by Calderdale Council’s planning department.

A farm in Greetland Road, Barkisland, has applied for an agricultural steel portal building to house cattle; Highbury School, Lower Edge Road, Rastrick, has applied for a single storey main entrance to form a secure entrance lobby and reception; Tesco Stores Limited, Haugh Shaw Road, Savile Park, has applied for replacement trolley bays from metal framed to wooden framed ones and new timber cladding applied to side of entrance area as well as a replacement/new car park signage, gantry and building signage (Advertisement Consent).

A house in Heath Lea, Halifax has applied to crown lift one tree (Tree Preservation Order); a house in Syke Lane, Lightcliffe, has applied for the formation of new access to the house including closure of existing access (revised scheme); Three Pigeons Inn, Sun Fold, Halifax, wants three externally illuminated fascia signs, one externally illuminated post sign, two externally illuminated sets of individual letters, one non-illuminated corex holder, four floodlights and one brass lantern (Listed Building Consent).

A two storey side extension is wanted at a house in Westholme Road, Halifax; a farm in Beestonley Lane, Stainland, wants a conversion and extension of outbuilding to create granny annex; and another farm in Branch Road, Barkisland, wants to construct of end terrace property on site of demolished agricultural barn and single storey outbuilding.

A homeowner in Dob Lane, Sowerby, wants to prune three trees (Tree Preservation Order); another wants to prune three trees and fell one (Tree Preservation Order) in Nest Lane, Mytholmroyd; a single storey extension to rear is wanted at a house in Pavement Lane, Illingworth.

A revised scheme has been submitted for an extension to the side of a house in Lyndhurst Avenue, Brighouse; a porch to South West elevation and conversion of basement to living space and garage at a house in Springfield Blake Hill, Shibden, has also been applied for; four trees could be felled if planning permission for a Tree Preservation Order is granted in Oldham Road, Ripponden.

Replacement of flat roof with pitched roof and replacement wall cladding has been applied for in Birdcage Lane, Halifax; Variation of condition 1 of planning permission 06/01313 to be changed to allow vehicle deliveries from 5am to reduce vehicle movements during the day and provide a required service for a municipal collection provider. - Variation of Condition 1 to: The use of the premises shall be restricted to the hours of 5am (changed from 7am) to 7pm Monday to Friday and between 7am to 1pm on Saturday.
