Disruptions to some Calderdale Council services on Bank Holiday Monday

The following Calderdale Council services will be operating on Bank Holiday Monday.

The household waste recycling sites will be open but operating on Sunday opening hours.

Bankfield Museum will open 10am until 4pm; Heptonstall Museum, 11am until 4pm; Shibden Hall 10am until 5pm. The Smith Art Gallery in Brighouse is closed along with all the libraries.

Brighouse Pool and Fitness Centre will be open 9am until 4pml Halifax pool 9am until 4pm; Sowerby Bridge Pool and Fitness Centre 9am until 2pm, dual run inflatble fun swims will run 12.30pm until 1.40pm; Todmorden Sports Centre 9am until 4pm; Spring Hall running track, 4pm until 8pm; The Shay Stadium 8am until 10pm. North Bridge Leisure Centre is open from 9am until 4pm and an antiques fair will be running from 10am until 4pm.

The waste and recycling collections will be different over the bank holiday period.

If your usual collection should have taken place on Bank Holiday Monday it will be on Tuesday, Tuesday’s will move to Wednesday, Wednesday to Thursday and so on with the normal collection for a Friday being done on Saturday, August 31.

Collections should be back to the usual scheduled day by Monday, September 2.

Customer First offices will reopen on Tuesday as will Victoria Theatre box office.
