Green light for high school sports pitch
Councillors have given the green light for an artificial grass sports pitch at Brighouse High School.
The application received more than 100 letters of objections from concerned residents but Calderdale Council’s planning committee decided to permit the application.
The pitch will be used by the school during the weekdays but will be open seven days a week with use for the community including Clifton Rangers football club.
