A full planning application for the proposed development of 113 houses on land off Clough Lane, Rastrick has been submitted to Calderdale Council.

The site historically formed an agricultural field as part of Lands Farm previously fronting New Hey Road

"The development proposes to deliver a high-quality development of residential two, three, and four bedroom properties.

"The proposed use of materials would be sympathetic to other residential properties in the vicinity.

"Vehicular access is provided from New Hey Road. The Transport Assessment provided with the application establishes there would be no adverse impact upon the local highway network."

As part of this development Keepmoat Homes will be engaging with local schools and education providers to offer sites visits and work experience.

The homebuilder also plans to launch a Social and Economic Investment Fund to support the project which will invest in local community organisations, charities and projects which will positively impact the local area.
