Video: Thousands of workers on strike across Calderdale

Hundreds of public sector workers have gone on strike today over wages, pay rises and spending cuts.

Five unions - Unison, FBU, PCS, GMB, NUT and Unite - have all announced they will be taking part in the industrial action.

Council services and schools have been affected by the strikes.

Rallies are planned in major cities across the country including Leeds and Bradford.
