Power cut hits over a thousand homes in Todmorden

The problem was reported at lunchtime today (Monday) and is currently affecting 131 post codes in the area - a total of 1,100 customers.

A spokesperson for Northern Power Grid said: “The power cut is due to a fault on the electricity network supplying the area,

“We are currently allocating the job of restoring the power to an engineer who will be shortly travelling to the area.

“We expect to have restored power to the area by 2.30pm.”
