Princess Royal arrives in Calderdale to visit scout sailing centre

The Princess Royal arrived in Calderdale this morning on a visit to West Yorkshire Scouts Watersports Centre in Ripponden.

The Princess was at Green Withens in her role as Patron of RYA Sailability, a charity dedicated to providing sailing opportunities for people with disabilities.

Green Withens is registered as a Sailability Centre and provides opportunities for scouts with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, sight and hearing problems and other conditions.

During her visit, the Princess Royal met cub scouts from across West Yorkshire, who took part in a full day of activities.
