Villagers are continuing to gather support to save Queensbury Pool from closure.
A recent meeting at the Holy Trinity Church was held to co-ordinate efforts to keep up the momentum.
Bradford Council has put forward proposals which would result in four leisure centres closing - including Queensbury Pool and the Richard Dunn Sports Centre at Odsal - and be replaced with four new swimming pools at locations yet to be announced.
Ward Coun Michael Walls extra support for the campaign was always welcome.
He said it was possible a supermarket could buy the Richard Dunn centre and then funds from that used to pay for the new pools.
But, he said Queensbury Pool was different to the rest as it was not a stand-alone sports centre.
It is part of the Victoria Hall where staff are not exclusive to the pool which was within walking distance of many of its users. “We will continue to fight for Queensbury Pool,” said Coun Walls.
