Sam Booth, General Manager at the Old Gate, said: “It’s the first one we’ve done and it’s to celebrate our first year of opening and it being a success.

“We’re just hoping that people turn out to support us, so that year on year we can turn it into a regular event.

“There will be a few beers which are a bit out of the ordinary, so hopefully people will give different things a go.”

Live music will also be a highlight of the weekend, with popular local bands including Raid and Stations making an appearance.

The festival will run from Thursday October 16 to Sunday October 19 and beer will be served from 10am until late.
