Red Nose Day is back for another year and fundraising heroes across Calderdale are kicking off their efforts to raise money for this year’s appeal.
Pupils at Calder High School, Hebden Bridge, held a side-splitting comedy gig to raise vital funds for Red Nose 2015.
They were the set the challenge of making their fellow pupils laugh with some of their best jokes and there was plenty of snorts and giggles as the school kicked off its fundraising effort.
Deputy headteacher, Andy Taylor, said: “We’re really passionate about supporting Red Nose Day so we’re only too happy to look a bit silly every now and then to support a great cause.”
Comic Relief uses the cash raised through Red Nose Day to help disadvantaged people across the UK and Africa.
As the excitement of the big day draws closer, we want to know what you will be doing to mark the big day.
