David Ferrari and Ryan Smith, who are on the preparation to employment programme, supported by Kelly Grain, represented the whole of CSS when they presented Macmillan staff with a cheque for £670.

Justin Appleyard, person centred planning co-ordinator at CSS, said: “We’re extremely proud of everyone for raising this fantastic amount of money. With a separate donation of £132 already being paid in, it brought our grand total to £802.

“The hair from the head shave was also sent to The Little Princess Trust who will use it to make wigs for children who have lost their hair.

“The events were also supported by Pauline Bear - our travel bear who goes on holiday with people and is attempting to become the world record holder for most travelled bear. Last year she covered over 96,000km while raising funds for small causes.

“Thank you to everyone who helped us to support Macmillan.”
