Residents at a Halifax care home got into the festive spirit with a Christmas party.
The Clover House Care Home residents were joined by staff family and friends and enjoyed Christmas music and dancing as well as a feast fit for a king.
There was a chocolate fountain, fruit palm tree and an ice cream cart for everyone to enjoy unlimited treats and the residents of Bankfield Manor Care Home were also invited to join in the fun.
Santa came along to help spread festive cheer and The Little Group brought presents for all the residents.
Safina Hussain, from the care home said: “We had a great entertainer who made sure that the dance floor was kept busy. Some of the residents had been saying that they would like a white Christmas and we actually made it happen. The expressions of joy and amazement on peoples faces were indescribable when the entertainer used his snow machine and actually made it snow while everybody was singing I’m dreaming of a white Christmas.
“Everybody enjoyed themselves and had so much fun.
“It was a lot of organising and hard work to make it happen but the whole place was full of so much happiness and laughter and that’s all that matters.”
