Roald Dahl-themed fun at Heptonstall Festival
A Roald Dahl-themed festival was held in Heptonstall yesterday.
People were encouraged to dress up as characters from Roald Dahl books as the family-friendly music and arts festival moved back to its original date of July 4.
Entertainment included live music from the Lottery Winners at the festival, held around the ruins of St Thomas the Apostle Church.
Guest ales were served and a dog show was held at the town’s recreation ground.
Live music started at noon at the acoustic stage in Weaver’s Square.
