A Halifax grandad will be embarking on a half marathon challenge raising funds for deafblind children and adults.
Robert Gosling, 60, was inspired to take on the race - which he’d set to complete on October 6 - by his 8-year-old grandson Oliver, who is deaf with very little sight.
He’ll be raising funds for the charity which supports Oliver, the national deafblind charity Sense.
Robert, who was born in Northowram and lived in Norland before moving over to Wakefield, said: “Running for Sense is my way of saying thank you and help support more children like my grandson.”
