Halifax will be treated to a week of live entertainment after the arrival of the Netherlands National Circus.
The circus, which is in Savile Park, Halifax, until Sunday, began on Tuesday afternoon.
This year the show includes a thrilling three-level flying trapeze never seen before in Britain, as well as springboard acrobatics, roller-balancing, solo trapeze and a hand-balancer who fires a bow and arrow with her feet.
This year’s show also has a focus on comedy, with Clown Angelo providing fresh routines based on his own family’s comic heritage.
The show is currently touring the UK after achieving success last year at Brighton Festival. The shows are twice a day, at 4.45pm and 7.30pm, with an extra 2pm showing on Saturday and a 1pm showing on Sunday May.
