The Bigger Boat digital agency, based at Woodvale Business Park, was chosen by Microsoft Studios and Lionhead Studios to work on the forthcoming instalment in the Fable franchise – Fable Legends, an online virtual world game.

Doug Main, creative director, said: “Being avid gamers we were pretty excited to be asked to pitch for a website for an Xbox one release. And it was even more exciting when we got the call from the guys at Lionhead to say they wanted to work with us.

“Working on such a high profile international brand and legendary game was a real coup for The Bigger Boat and we thoroughly enjoyed it.”

As part of the six month project they designed how the site would look, feel and function before handing the baton over to Moov2, who would be responsible for bringing those ideas to life.

Doug, along with Lee Boothroyd and Andy McCaul, established the business four years ago. Since then the team and clientele has grown.

The company acts as design consultants helping to launch websites for businesses and individual projects and marketing products.
